Interlude: Meet the Townies

Good evening, readers! This is Emmie Aisling (head reporter and photographer extraordinaire), here with the Summer Issue of the Hollyhead Herald!

To fill in any new readers, Hollyhead is a new, growing town, founded with the needs of supernatural sims in mind! Regular sims are welcome here too of course, but our leader, Robert Rachet, believes it’s better for us supernaturals to create our own society rather than assimilate with normal sims. We try to do things a little differently here and are working on a community that serves everyone.

Hollyhead’s developing pretty dang quickly and more and more folks are moving here, so today I’m going to be introducing a few new faces. Say hi to these guys if you see them! Now, everyone, say cheese!!

 

Margot has this kinda scary, intimidating aura about her, but once she gets talking she is soooooo nice!! There is something about her that just draws you in, I dunno how to describe it! I’m super stoked she’s chosen to make a home here among us.

The Petrovic brothers! These guys used to live in Sim City, but were recently banished for being a “public disturbance”! Aloysius used to run a gallery before it got shut down and is hoping to bring some style and culture to our little town. Adelbert is also here, and has promised not to run down any mailboxes or be too much of a nuisance… certainly inspiring confidence!

This cutie-pie is Chloe the Kitty! She’s kind of silly and a lot of fun to be around! Halfway through our interview though she decided she wanted to take a nap so I’m afraid I didn’t find out much about her - I guess that’s what happens when you conduct all your research at night. Vampire problems :(

Meet Sean the Fawn! He’s hoping to find that special someone in Hollyhead, settle down, and have a few kids. Awww! Don’t let that shy smile fool you, though, he’s had a pretty colourful past!

Paige loves comic books, crafting regents, baking, and all things magical! She’s very laid-back and prefers to take life at a nice, slow pace - which I can respect! Paige told me she’d ultimately like to open up a little magic stall here, but for now she’d rather just hang out.

What is it with werewolves and dark, tragic, *mysterious* backstories??? Iago was super moody the whole time I was interviewing him and kept giving me these vague, cryptic answers. Newsflash, loser, you’re not the first guy in Hollyhead with issues! Anyway, let’s all welcome Iago to the hood, maybe if we’re nice to him he’ll quit being such a tortured soul?

Now, here’s a werewolf who likes to have a good time! Orion is big into sports and fitness, and loves kicking back and cracking open a cold one with the boys! He’s moved to Hollyhead because his bros all got married and had kids and now none of them want to hang out :(

Pyxis is a world famous artist, known for her unique pottery! She’s very free-spirited though and prefers to travel the world (mostly couch-surfing) rather than settling down in one place. We *do* have some pretty comfortable couches here in Hollyhead.

Me and Benjie are actually acquaintances from a vampire message board! He’s been having some trouble adjusted to life as a vampire, and I told him he should move here so I can teach him our ways!!! I wasn’t expecting him to actually show up, and it looks like I’m going to have my work cut out, since the poor guy is afraid of his own shadow, but that’s what being a Hollyhead Ambassador is all about!

As soon as we got talking Thomas was at great pains to tell me he have any pots of gold, he doesn’t mend shoes, he hates Lucky Charms… jeez, I get it! Thomas is a Leprechaun who loves thrift stores, fixing things, revamping old clothes, and the occasional practical joke.

Wisteria, or ‘Wisty’ as I have just nicknamed her, is one talented witch! Whatever the tools of the trade -paintbrush or wand- she’ll pick it up real quick! She’s decided to move to Hollyhead in search of new subjects to paint, which is a great choice if you ask me. I’ve found no shortage of great photo ops here so I’m sure we’ll have plenty of tips to exchange :D

Elliot is maybe the sweetest guy I have ever met! He loves puppies and he kind of reminds me of one himself, all enthusiastic and happy to be here… he’s hoping to join up with our police force, so I’d better have a word with Clive on his behalf.
