“What is it?”

“Do you think Emmie needs any help writing the Herald?” 

 

“I’m not sure… I know she hasn’t set up a press office yet, so I’m not certain you’d get paid for it.”

 

“Hmmm. I was just wondering if I might like to try my hand at it. I’ve been feelin’ so fucking restless lately.” 

 

“I never took you for a writer.”

“I can write!!! I’ve been working on some freestyle rap.”

 

“What?”

 

“I’ll show you some of it later. It’s gonna a surprise!!”

 

“Uhh, not sure how much of a surprise it’ll be now that you’ve already told me, but okay. Wouldn’t you rather do something that got you out of the house a bit more?” 

“I guess. Maybe some science fieldwork? I dunno, just something to bring some money in.” 

 

“It’s good to be thinking about the future, but let’s do one thing at a time. It’s spring now and we’ve got a wedding to plan.”

 

“Oh shit, yeah!”

“So, what time are you thinking?”

“This evening, after dark. There’s a full moon, which I think would be romantic! Especially since I’m taking your cool moon surname.”

 

“Are you going to be in your wolf form, then?”

 

“Hell yes? Obviously!! It’ll be cool!!”

 

“Mmmm. I just don’t want you howling away and all the guests rushing to the bathroom mid-ceremony.”

 

“Babe, c’mon! I promise not to howl.” 

 

“You had better keep that promise or this marriage won’t last long.”

“Apello Cattus Amicus! Hey, Luna, I did it! Come meet Salim!”

 

“A cat??? Babe.”

 

“He’s my new feline familiar.”

 

“I thought I was your familiar!! You know I hate cats!”

 

“You’ve never mentioned it.”

 

“I assumed it was obvious! I’m a wolf!!” 

“Don’t worry, Salim. I’m sure she’ll come around soon enough.”

So, tonight is Luna and Myrna’s wedding, eeeeee! To say I’m excited for it would be an understatement! 

“..for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part.”

“Ha! If death thinks he’s parting us he’s got another thing coming! I’ll kick his ass.” 

Luna & Myrna Moonfall - Hollyhead’s first married couple! I’m so happy to see them finally tying the knot - they’ve both been together like, forever, so it makes perfect sense! They both look super happy. 

It’s so weird seeing Luna in a dress. She’s not usually the girly type. 

 

“Love you, Mrs Moonfall.”

“I love you too. Now get out from under the arch a sec - I’m going to wow our audience with a sick rap.” 

“Uh, what?”

“Yo! It’s my wedding day, here I am, gettin’ hitched
to my new wife, who’s a smokin’ hot garden witch…”

“Luna…”

“What? People are into it! Laura’s clapping and she’s like, the head witch or whatever. Time to fall in line, Myrna!”

 

“For goodness sake…”

A freestyle rap wasn’t really what any of us expected, but I for one enjoyed it!! Myrna seemed embarrassed by the whole thing at first but with a little coaxing she started to get into it and even attempted some backup vocals! 

So cute, I would definitely buy Luna’s album if I had any money, and if the album existed. 

“Only 5 bucks??? Dude, this isn’t going to pay for a honeymoon!”

“Hold on, I have to water the tomatoes.”

“Come on, babe! You can harvest the crops in the morning.”

“It’ll detract from their quality. Plus, vegetables harvested at midnight have certain magical properties that-”

“Awoooooooooooo!”

“Luna, you promised!”

“I promised not to howl during the wedding. Wedding’s over.”

“Just give me a minute, I need to make sure-”

“Awooooooooooooooooooooooooo!”

“You horrible mutt!”

“I’m sorry. Seriously, I didn’t mean- did I ruin our wedding night?”

“It’s okay. You’re probably right, anyway. The crops can wait until morning.”

“Good morning to you, Mrs. Moonfall! And hey, Salim!!! You know, you’re not so bad for a cat. Kinda cute, even!”

“You’re cheerful this morning.”

 

“Well, yeah, I just got married to the love of my life! And uh, the least I could do after being such a brat last night is make a bit of an effort.”

 

“I appreciate it. I think Salim likes you! Anyway, let’s get out to the market. The weather looks good and we’ve got tomatoes to sell.” 

 

“Sweet, lemme just change real quick. I’ve got some lil’ robo-knights I made that we can sell, too.”

“Okay, so we have 4 here, plus 4 here, that makes…”

“Oh God, fire!!! *Minus star*” 

“Don’t worry, folks. I’ve got this under control!”

“Well done with the fire, today. I wonder if we could convince some other witches to help out when there’s a fire-”

“Oh!!”

“Did you just… pop??”

“Yes!! It looks like the fertility potion I brewed up really works!”

“So with a baby on the way, I gotta start bringing in some extra cash… would you consider it?”

“We’d love to have you on board, Luna!”

“Fuckin’ sweet, when do I start?”

“Tomorrow, if you’d like.”

“Hey, don’t talk about me like I’m some kind of fixer-upper! I’m going to be a valuable addition to the team, right??”

“Of course. With Caryl settling in and that dark witch, Marie… we’re expecting a bit of a crime spike.”
