Hi again! Emmie here, bringing you the latest updates from Hollyhead!
Despite their new engagement, Luna & Myrna have been keeping busy and useful! They have 2 of the most crucial jobs in the project - supplying the food and supplying the electricity - so it's good to see them still working hard.
---
“Hey, stranger.”
“Hey.”
“So, Raye, remind me… what is it you do around here again?”
“Honestly? I just wait around all day for night to come so I get to hang out with you.”
“Smooth.”
“I mean it. You’re like my best friend here.”
“Just your friend, or…?”
“I dunno. We don’t have to be ‘just’ anything.”
“No..?”
“Nah. I really like you, Em.”
“Ah man, get that smarmy smile off your face!! Take this!!”
Honestly, I told myself I wasn’t going to do the whole romance thing. I’ve been burned a few times in the past, and I kind of joined the expedition hoping to break my habit of always falling for the wrong people!! But I’m starting to develop some pretty strong feelings for Raye.
I can’t tell if he feels the same way, and I’m too scared to ask directly! I’ll just have to wait and see.
---
“Seriously????? I know sims have their urges, but this is a group space and you are keeping everyone awake! At least try and keep the noise down!”
Rob is such a prude.
---
“Congratulations on the engagement.”
“Thank you! We’re heading out to our new house tonight. I’m looking forward to having our own space.”
“Yes, I can imagine. Everyone is lovely, but the camp gets a little bit crazy. So, um… how did you know Luna was ‘the one’?”
“I dunno, I’ve always been a bit of a romantic. I think when you know, you just know! Why?”
“I’ve just been thinking it must be nice. Having someone to stick by your side forever like that. I’m not sure what Oli thinks about marriage, though. He’s a romance sim, I’m a family sim…”
“Honestly, you need to put less stock in aspirations. They’re not the be-all and end-all. For all you know, Oleander might be thinking about it, too.”
---
Luna and Myrna finally moved out! It’s just a little across the way from us, so it’ll be easy to visit. I’m excited for their wedding, but Luna told me they wanted to save up some money first and have a nice one, maybe in the spring.
I’m a little jealous they get their own place, but obvious it takes Oli time so I’m trying not to be too impatient! Besides, it’s fun hanging out with everyone at the camp.
---
---
I haven't had a chance to go visit yet - but Raye's pals with them both so he did a little espionage on my behalf.
I dunno why of all the things to snap a picture of he picked the toilet? I'm never lending him my camera again...
---
“I have to say, it’s nice being indoors for a change! The fireplace makes it nice and cosy.”
“Thanks. Myrna insisted on two cauldrons in the kitchen. At first I thought it was overkill, but with winter rolling in soon it’ll be nice.”
“What about when you’re a wolf? Will you be too warm?”
“I tend to run around outside a bunch when I transform. Werewolves don’t like being cooped up!! So I should be fine.”
---
Oli finished another house today! I wonder who’ll be moving into this one? Would love to stick around and find out, but I gotta get back to my coffin! TTYL!! xoxox
---
“Welcome back, Oli.”
“Hey. There’s something I want to ask you…”
“Abigail Crow… would you do me the honour of being my wife?”
“Oh my gosh! Yes!!!”
“I just finished our house. The living space is a little small and a lot of it will be outdoors, but…”
“I'm sure it’ll be perfect.”
---
---
Raye’s been full of surprises lately. Tonight whilst I was taking my notes, he wandered in and started serenading me!
With everything that's been going on, for a minute I thought he was going to propose too, haha! Crazy.
---
Meanwhile Rob has been working overtime, but I’m a little scared he could be overdoing it! Note to self: remind him to take a few breaks once in a while.
---
Oli’s been even more stuck inside his own head than usual. You’d think getting engaged would make him a little more sociable, but nope! I wonder if we’ll see much of him once Abi and him move out.
I do worry about getting left behind now that everyone’s getting their own places. I understand people wanting their space, but…
I dunno, I’m probably being silly but it’s been a long time since I was part of such a close-knit group. I’d hate to lose that.
“What’re you brooding over?”
“Hey! I never brood.”
“Well, you look broody. All solemn, staring into the flames…”
“I’m not like that, jeez.”
“Got anything on your mind?”
“Not really.”
“Well, I’ve been thinking. with winter rolling in, we’re gonna be wanting out of this camp, right?”
“Sure.”
“Have you given any thought to who you want to live with? Like, I’m not saying we need to get engaged like half the group are doing, but I reckon rooming together would be cool. What do you think?”
“Yeah, sounds great!! I was thinking I’d be all by my lonesome.”
“Nah, not if I have anything to do with it. Hey, Oli, you hear that? Reserve the next house for me and Em, okay?”
“That’s great, but the next one I’m building is for Robert. You guys will have to stick it out for now.”
“Aw, bummer! But I guess he is the future mayor.”
---
I heard Rob malfunctioned again today. Luna reckons it’s water messing with his system, so I guess he probably does need the house! His home is going to be shower-and-pond free.
Abi’s also run into some misfortune, I hear! I think everyone at the camp is starting to hit their breaking point :(

I was chatting to Clive over dinner and decided to ask him to live with me and Raye. It’s not like me and Raye are official or anything after all and Clive is like, one of my best friends here! I’d miss him too much if he was living far away. Besides, he can keep catching us fish. Mmmm, stuffed trout!
